English Language Arts (ELA) & Math Tutor for US Students | $500/Month Fixed Pay | Paid Booked or Unbooked | Part-Time | WFH

Teach Reading, Writing, and/or Math online to small groups of US PreK-Grade 5 students using a structured curriculum based on the gradual-release model: I do, we do, you do.

What you'll receive:

  • Fixed pay of $500/month when you open 22 hours per week
  • Paid for booked or unbooked slots
  • Regular student roster

Bonuses:

  • ₱5,000 joining bonus
  • ₱3,000 US teacher bonus
  • ₱2,000 training bonus
  • ₱25,000 retention bonus (4-6 months)

Schedule: 22 hours per week, anytime between 8 PM and 11 AM PHT

Commitment: Part-time

You must have:

  • Current or former J1 visa holder
  • Bachelor's degree in Primary or Secondary Education, with original diploma
  • Active Philippine or US teaching license
  • Classroom experience teaching US students
  • FBI background check
  • NBI clearance (mandatory)
  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Clear, confident spoken English
  • Reliable equipment, wired internet, backup connection, and power backup

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with US Common Core ELA and/or Math standards
  • 120-hour TESOL/TEFL certification
  • At least two years of experience teaching children online

Equipment requirements:

  • Laptop or desktop with Intel i5 8th Gen or higher
  • Minimum 8GB RAM and CPU score of 3500+
  • External 1080p webcam and noise-canceling headset
  • Wired internet with 25 Mbps plus a 15 Mbps backup connection
