Make an Impact Beyond the Classroom

Great teachers help other teachers become great, too. As a Part-Time Trainer / QA, you’ll use your experience as an EDGE educator to coach, support, assess, and develop fellow teachers.

Depending on your expertise, you may support ESL/English or Math training and quality-related activities. You’ll help teachers strengthen areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, teaching strategies, student engagement, language modelling, subject knowledge, and demo lesson performance.

This is a supplementary opportunity for existing EDGE teachers. Your primary teaching account, teaching commitments, and teaching capacity must be maintained.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions for teachers online.
  • Coach teachers on lesson planning, classroom management, teaching strategies, and student engagement.
  • Support Math-focused teachers in strengthening mathematical understanding and math teaching skills.
  • Help teachers prepare for interviews, demo lessons, and teaching assessments.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and additional support when needed.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess teacher performance against established training and quality standards.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback that helps teachers improve.
  • Maintain accurate records of teacher performance and training outcomes.
  • Support relevant training and quality metrics, including teacher progress and outcomes.
  • Identify areas where teachers may benefit from additional coaching or development.
  • Support the development and adaptation of practical training materials and activities.
  • Collaborate with trainers and support teams to create effective professional development experiences.
  • Participate in training-related activities and professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • You are an existing EDGE teacher in good standing.
  • You have strong teaching performance and the ability to support other teachers.
  • You communicate clearly and build rapport easily with teachers.
  • You can give constructive, practical feedback in a supportive way.
  • You are organized and able to manage multiple training activities effectively.
  • You are comfortable using online teaching platforms and educational technology.
  • Mentoring, coaching, training, or teacher-support experience is an advantage.
  • For ESL/English: a strong English teaching background; ESL/TESOL certification is an advantage.
  • For Math: a strong mathematics teaching background; mathematics teaching certification is an advantage.

Important: This is Supplementary Role

Your teaching role remains your primary commitment.

  • Your primary EDGE teaching account must remain active.
  • You must continue to meet your existing teaching commitments.
  • This role must not reduce your teaching capacity or negatively affect your primary teaching account.
  • Training assignments will be scheduled around your approved availability and team requirements.
  • Participation is subject to HR and Training/QA approval.

What You'll Gain

  • Earn additional income at ₱220/hour while continuing to teach.
  • Help fellow EDGE teachers build confidence and improve their teaching practice.
  • Develop deeper experience in training, coaching, assessment, and quality assurance.
  • Play a direct role in strengthening the quality of EDGE’s global teaching community.
