About the Role

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of online education services within assigned client accounts. This role encompasses the leadership and performance management of a team of online teachers, the cultivation of strong client relationships, and the execution of data-driven operational strategies. The Account Manager serves as the central point of accountability for teacher quality, client satisfaction, and overall account health.

Key Responsibilities

Teacher Team Leadership

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of online teachers to deliver exceptional learning experiences.
  • Observe lessons regularly, provide timely and actionable feedback, and coach teachers toward continuous improvement.
  • Manage schedules, ensure optimal coverage, and handle disciplinary actions to maintain performance standards.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Proactively manage expectations, address inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure long-term account stability.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports for clients and senior management.

Operations, Data & Collaboration

  • Analyze key metrics — booked lessons, utility rates, lesson quality scores, and teacher productivity — to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with Lesson Support, Training, and Recruitment to enhance the end-to-end student experience.
  • Act as the primary liaison between partners, clients, and teaching staff; facilitate clear and consistent communication across all parties.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team of online teachers—as a mentor, trainer, team leader, or supervisor.
  • Skilled in lesson observation, feedback delivery, and teacher coaching.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience preparing and presenting reports.
  • Knowledge of online lesson delivery metrics (booked lessons, utility rates, lesson quality).
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills; international client experience is a strong advantage.
  • Highly organized, thorough, proactive, and a strong critical thinker.
  • Experience in disciplinary actions and performance management.

Work Set-up and Requirements

  • Proven ability to balance client success with operational scalability and financial objectives.
  • Schedule: May require flexible hours but with focus on mid-shift (start of shift at 12NN or 1PM)
  • Workdays: Five-day workweek with two rest days.
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Minimum 25 Mbps internet speed with backup connection
  • Backup power supply for at least 8 hours
