Job Description

The SEO associate is pivotal in enhancing our online visibility through strategic on-page SEO efforts, ensuring that our website content is optimized to attract and engage both search engines and users. Your expertise in keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking will directly contribute to our broader marketing initiatives, supporting the development of high-quality web pages and digital resources. In addition to SEO, your skills will also provide valuable support across various marketing tasks, helping us drive consistent growth and reach our business goals.


Responsibilities:

  • On-Page SEO: Play a crucial role in optimizing our website’s content by improving keyword placement, refining meta tags, and enhancing page structure. This will ensure each page is fine-tuned for maximum visibility and engagement, contributing to a robust, search-friendly website that attracts high-quality traffic.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct detailed keyword research to identify opportunities for growth in content performance. Your ability to target relevant keywords and integrate them into our digital assets will significantly enhance our organic search presence.
  • Content Optimization: Collaborate closely with content creators to review and optimize written materials, ensuring that every page adheres to SEO best practices. This includes improving readability, strategic keyword usage, and ensuring our content aligns with the interests of our target audience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of our SEO efforts using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Your insights will help us understand what’s working, and what needs improvement, contributing to our ongoing SEO strategy.
  • SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits, assessing areas such as page load speed, keyword density, and internal linking. This ongoing evaluation will help us identify new opportunities for optimization, keeping our site competitive.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor websites to uncover opportunities for improvement in our own content. Your insights will ensure that our strategy is always one step ahead of industry trends and competitors.
  • Basic Marketing Tasks: As part of the marketing team, you may be asked to assist with other marketing-related activities, such as content creation, social media management, or email marketing, to support broader business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: at least 2 years of demonstrated experience with on-page SEO strategies, keyword research, and content optimization. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is a plus.
  • Education: A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of SEO tools and content management systems (CMS) such as Wix.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate SEO implementation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
